This is a new technology brought about by the effective use of polyethylene pipe (PE) wastes, which are used as gas pipes by Osaka Gas, and the recycling of PET bottles.
A special combination of MARICOM realizes a mixture of PE, which has low polarity, and PET, which has high polarity. The new resin displays advantages inherited from both source materials.
We provide the masterbatch grade, which you can combine with PE or PET, and the normal grade of compound materials, where MARICOM is combined with PE + PET.
Advantages
- The physical properties of recycled resin become as good as those of virgin materials when MARICOM is added.
- You can control the physical properties according to use by changing the compound ratio of MARICOM.
- You can form objects stronger than general purpose PP at a material cost less than that of conventional materials. Great cost reductions are possible.
