Carbon fiber and its application products

Carbon fibers of Osaka Gas Chemicals are made from coal tar pitch. They are "pitch-based general-purpose carbon fibers" produced on the basis of our unique spinning and processing techniques. The carbon fiber formed by the vortex method produces its curly shape. This shape provides good twining and has excellent electrical conductivity, thermal insulation, and impregnation into resin.
