DONACOOL LIGHT (DCL) <Lightweight acoustic insulator>

DONACOOL LIGHT (DCL) is a lightweight sound-absorbing insulator that makes use of the characteristics of DONACARBO, curled "pitch-based carbon fiber." DONACOOL LIGHT is light and inflammable and has an excellent restoration property against compression.
In addition, this insulator is very safe and has excellent processibility and vibration tolerance. Therefore, it is used as a sound absorbing, heat insulating material for railroad vehicle.

Applications

DONACOOL LIGHT is mainly used as a sound absorbing, heat insulating material for railroad vehicle, a material for inflammable cushions, and an acoustic isolation and heat insulating material with aluminum. In addition, DONACOOL LIGHT could used in various ways on ship, aircrafts, construction, roadside soundproof walls, flue gas ducts, plants, air-conditioning air filters, home electric appliances, and gas appliances.
